Welcome to the David James Foundation

The David James Foundation was set up in 2005 by footballer David James to help Malawian communities move towards improving long term food security.


Malawi is the poorest country in the world that is not at war. However Malawi is also known as ‘The Warm Heart of Africa’ because of the extraordinarily friendly people. You can explore this site to find out more about David James, the work of the Foundation, and the projects we are undertaking in Malawi.
