Malawi is currently in crisis. The army has been deployed, there is rioting on the streets, and protesters have been shot dead.
Whatever the political rights and wrongs of the situation, one thing is certain: in troubled times like it is often the poorest, youngest and most vulnerable sections of the population of Malawi who will suffer greatly.
There are major problems in the country with unemployment and the price of food causing many people to go without the basic essentials necessary to sustain life. The David James Foundation is a non political charity that works towards improving food production, ending food poverty and working towards building sustainable agriculture. Malawi has the potential to grow enough food to feed the hungry. If you would like to help us with the work we are doing please consider a donation.
